Because I can't figure out how to create a link to the bigger map in the sidebar:



Since it's still not clear, the bordering countires are (clockwise starting from midnight): Ukraine to the NE, Moldova is that little carved out piece between Romania and Ukraine, the Black Sea directly to the East, Bulgaria SE, Serbia SW, and Hungary directly to the West.
